Support the Work

Help EcoSentience build practical evidence and care for ancient woodland, starting with eDNA research, monitoring, and volunteer stewardship at Mickley Wood.

Hands On

Volunteer & Citizen Science

Ancient woodland stewardship depends on people. Whether you have expertise in ecology, technology, communications, fundraising, or simply a willingness to learn, there may be a useful role for you.

Woodland Conservation

Join working parties at Mickley Wood. Help with path maintenance, invasive species management, tree planting, and habitat restoration. No experience required — just a willingness to learn carefully and work responsibly.

Citizen Science

Help collect careful observations: species notes, seasonal records, soil sampling, and acoustic monitoring. Your observations become part of the evidence record.

Technical Contributions

Developers, data scientists, and AI researchers can help with sensor infrastructure, data analysis, accessibility, and transparent evidence workflows.

Spreading the Word

Share our work with your networks. Help us reach researchers, conservationists, and communities who care about practical ancient woodland protection.
